People are often quick to pick up the phone to complain when something isn’t done right. But I think it’s just as important, if not more so, to write and congratulate our suppliers when something is done exceptionally well. A short note to say thank you for providing the tables, chairs and dance floor for our ‘Viva Las Vegas’ Summer Ball. As usual, everything arrived exactly as we had ordered. PERFECT!

Not only will this years Ball be remembered as ‘the wet one’ due to the awful weather the weeks prior to the event and the change of venue at the eleventh hour, but the best one in terms of fundraising.

Although the final monies have yet to be confirmed, it looks as though the profit we made is just under £6,000 which is absolutely fantastic for the school.

I am writing to you for your support during the Chester Food and Drink Festival this year.

The festival was bigger than we ever thought was possible and all your support has been really appreciated.
